As part of the Challenge Fund II programme, Cherrydown West was delivered on behalf of Genesis Housing Group with Logic Homes partners bptw and Hill partnerships.

The 11 shared ownership homes, located only a short walk from the Basildon train station, were constructed in ten months by utilising MMC including off site manufacture of light gauge steel frames and bathroom pods which were craned into position.

Achieving an Eco Homes standard of very good, the homes were built with fitted wardrobes and video entry systems, plus car parking and cycle storage for each unit to reflect the commuter belt.
