Hot on the heels of our Barrington Gate development in Lincolnshire, the development of former garages in Stevenage also utilises our innovative new funding model whereby the private developer receives the grant funding.

 

The garages on Haycroft Road, Stevenage were bought by Hill Partnerships in 2009 with permission to build 8 new affordable rental homes on the site.  Work began in January 2010 and is expected to be complete in March 2011.  On completion the homes will be sold to and managed by Guinness Housing Trust.

 

There will be a total of 8 homes on this scheme, 7 two bedroom houses for families and 1 one bedroom bungalow for a couple.   In addition there will be 8 new garages constructed for the council’s use and parking facilities for the adjacent allotments.

 

Logic Homes has been granted funding by the Homes and Communities Agency as an Approved Investment Partner.  The homes are due for completion in March 2011.
