  • County: London
  • Status: Completed

The refurbishment of the former office building, known as Lennig House, saw its final units handed over at the start of December 2008.

The scheme includes a total of 189 units; 78 one bed apartments, 100 two bed apartments, 6 three bed penthouses which have been built within the existing shell of the building and 5 two bed mews houses have been added in a two storey extension.  64 of the units are for affordable housing, 48 affordable rent and 16 shared ownership.  Units range from 441sq ft to over 1100sq ft, including balconies, for the 6 penthouses.

Centrillion Point was designed by Bryden Wood Associates and constructed by Logic Homes partner Durkan Limited.  The scheme is situated on the edge of Croydon’s Cultural Quarter, which is currently undergoing its own multi million pound regeneration, and just off the High Street.  Commuters will benefit from great transport links to Central London via the nearby East Croydon Station, and from 2010 the East London line extension will bring the tube within easy reach of Centrillion Point.

The building has had new external cladding, giving it a distinctive look, and windows installed.  The existing car park has been renovated and landscaping has been introduced to the scheme.
