Logic Homes began work on the former Redruth Library site just before Christmas 2009.  Allenbuild SE demolished the old library building and began works to erect a 5 storey block containing 19 affordable homes.  The scheme was designed by bptw Partnership for Genesis Housing Group.

 

The scheme will contain 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, all for General Needs Rent.  Two of the homes will be wheelchair accessible.

 

Redruth Road is located beside Victoria Park in Hackney, East London.  With local buses and National Rail stations close by this is an ideal location for commuters.  Further investment in the area is guaranteed as Hackney is one of the Olympic Boroughs and this scheme is only 2 miles from the Olympic Park in Stratford.

 

Logic Homes has been granted funding by the Homes and Communities Agency as an Approved Investment Partner.  The homes are due for completion in March 2012.
