In March 2010 work started on a major regeneration scheme in the town of Pitsea, Essex.  Logic Homes are providing 120 affordable homes for completion in March 2012.  The scheme has been designed by bptw Partnership and is being constructed by Allenbuild SE for Genesis Housing Group.

 

The scheme will comprise two blocks, one 5 storeys tall containing 25 homes and commercial units on the ground floor.  The other block rising 9 storeys and containing 95 homes and a ground floor café.  The homes will be a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom properties and the NewBuild HomeBuy units will be reserved for the over 55’s. 

 

Logic Homes has received funding from the Homes and Communities Agency as an Approved Investment Partner and Basildon Council have designated this scheme a priority to kick-start the regeneration of Pitsea town centre. 

 

The scheme will be in the centre of Pitsea, a town that has been overlooked for investment for decades and is now showing serious decline.  Despite this Pitsea has excellent transport links to Basildon, London and Essex.
